Library Manager and Owner ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use our library management application ("App"), available as a one-time purchase on the Google Play Store.
By downloading, installing, or using the App, you consent to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
Library Manager and Owner is designed to be privacy-first. The App operates entirely offline and all data is stored locally on your device. Here is exactly what we handle:

This data is stored ONLY on your device and is NEVER transmitted to any server.
If you choose to sign in with Google, your Google profile name and email are used exclusively for local authentication. No Google account data is transmitted off your device or stored on any remote server.

Your data is stored locally using Hive database (structured data) and SharedPreferences (settings). All data resides in the app's private sandboxed storage directory. Android's file-level encryption protects data at rest on supported devices. You are responsible for device security — enable a screen lock (PIN, pattern, or biometric) to protect the App.
We do NOT share, sell, rent, or trade your personal information with any third party. Since your data stays entirely on your device, we cannot access or share it even if requested. We will only disclose information if required by a valid legal order.
Retention: Your data is retained on your device for as long as you keep the App installed. Deletion: Delete all data via Settings > Clear All Data or by uninstalling the App. There is no cloud copy — deletion is permanent.
Since all data is stored locally, you have complete control: View all data within the App, edit any data directly, delete via Settings or uninstall, and export as backup files using the in-app export feature.
Library Manager and Owner is designed for library owners aged 18 and above. While the App manages student records (which may include minors), this data is entered and controlled solely by the library owner. Library owners are responsible for obtaining appropriate consent before entering data of students under 18.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the "Last Updated" date and notify you through in-app notifications. Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
